Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with the target audience, and drive business goals. Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and others.
  • Content creation skills, including copywriting and basic graphic design.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and campaign optimization.
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization for social media.
  • Data analysis skills to measure and interpret social media performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze social media data and draw actionable insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address social media challenges and optimize strategies.
  • Market research skills to identify trends, competitive landscape, and target audience behavior.
  • Adeptness at using data to make informed social media decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

Certifications:

While not always mandatory, certifications can enhance a Social Media Managers qualifications. Some relevant certifications include:

  • Relevant certifications in social media management or digital marketing are advantageous.
  • Additional certifications in content marketing or SEO are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve brand objectives, including increasing brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

  6. Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and video producers to produce high-quality social media content.
  7. Implement content calendars and posting schedules to maintain a consistent online presence.
  8. Utilize data analytics tools to track social media performance, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  9. Conduct competitive analysis to assess social media strategies, content, and engagement tactics of competitors.
  10. Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  11. Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to collaborate with relevant influencers in the industry.
  12. Coordinate and execute social media contests, giveaways, and promotions.
  13. Monitor and manage social media advertising budgets to optimize spend and ROI.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.
  15. Prepare and deliver presentations to share social media performance and insights with senior management and stakeholders.
  16. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in social media content and advertising.
  17. Train and mentor junior social media team members as needed.
  18. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors for specialized social media tasks.

Expected Salary:

  1. Entry-Level : $75,000 to $85,000 per year
  2. Mid-Level : $95,000 to $105,000 per year
  3. Senior-Level : $110,000 to $130,000+ per year
