Job Description

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies to drive the successful launch and ongoing promotion of our products. Minimum Educational Qualification:

Social Media Managers should possess a strong foundation in computer science and software development, including proficiency in:

  • Proficiency in product marketing strategies and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Experience with product positioning, messaging, and branding.
  • Content creation skills, including copywriting and storytelling.
  • Data analysis skills to assess market trends and campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address product marketing challenges and optimize strategies.
  • Capacity to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).

Certifications:

While not always mandatory, certifications can enhance a Social Media Managers qualifications. Some relevant certifications include:

  • Relevant certifications in product marketing or marketing strategy are advantageous.
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing or data analysis are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of our products.
  2. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive positioning.
  3. Collaborate with product development teams to define and refine product positioning, features, and benefits.
  4. Create compelling product messaging, value propositions, and marketing collateral.
  5. Plan and execute product launches, including market positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  6. Develop and maintain product content and collateral, including product guides, datasheets, and website content.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and messaging to effectively sell the product.
  8. Create and manage product marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  9. Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
  10. Conduct competitive analysis to assess market positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies of competitors.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product marketing.
  12. Develop and execute customer segmentation strategies to tailor product messaging to specific audience segments.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales, and marketing teams, to align product marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  14. Prepare and deliver presentations to share product marketing performance and insights with senior management and stakeholders.
  15. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in product marketing content and advertising.
  16. Train and mentor junior product marketing team members as needed.
  17. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors for specialized product marketing tasks.

Expected Salary:

  1. Entry-Level : $75,000 to $85,000 per year
  2. Mid-Level : $95,000 to $105,000 per year
  3. Senior-Level : $110,000 to $130,000+ per year
