Job Description

As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing campaigns to promote our company’s products/services and drive growth. You will work closely with the marketing team to create and implement strategies that resonate with our target audience and achieve our business objectives.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Marketing Specialist should possess a strong foundation in computer science and software development, including proficiency in:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) for organic and paid campaigns.
  • Ability to create and edit multimedia content, including graphics and videos.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Data analysis skills to measure and interpret marketing performance metrics.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze marketing data and draw actionable insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address marketing challenges and optimize strategies.
  • Market research skills to identify trends, competitive landscape, and target audience behavior.
  • Adeptness at using data to make informed marketing decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

Certifications:

While not always mandatory, certifications can enhance a Marketing Specialist qualifications. Some relevant certifications include:

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) or similar digital marketing certifications are preferred.
  • HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification or other relevant certifications in marketing automation are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and content marketing.
  2. Create and optimize landing pages and website content to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  3. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility.
  4. Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  5. Develop and maintain marketing calendars to ensure timely execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  6. Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  7. Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by creating engaging content and monitoring user interactions.
  8. Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce multimedia content for marketing campaigns.
  9. Assist in the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
  10. Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and A/B testing.
  11. Stay updated on marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in marketing strategies.
  12. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and competitive positioning.
  13. Assist in organizing and participating in promotional events, trade shows, and webinars.
  14. Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals.
  15. Support the development and implementation of marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement.
  16. Maintain a clear understanding of the target audience and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
  17. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed for specialized marketing tasks.
  18. Effectively communicate marketing plans and results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Expected Salary:

  1. Entry-Level : $75,000 to $85,000 per year
  2. Mid-Level : $95,000 to $105,000 per year
  3. Senior-Level : $110,000 to $130,000+ per year
