Minimum Educational Qualification:

Technical Skills:

Program Managers should possess a strong foundation in computer science and software development, including proficiency in:

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools, such as Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
  • Understanding of software development and project management concepts.

Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced data analysis skills to interpret business metrics and assess processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address business challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Capacity to evaluate the impact of business decisions on strategic objectives.

Certifications:

While not always mandatory, certifications can enhance a Program Managers qualifications. Some relevant certifications include:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or other relevant business analysis certifications are beneficial.
  • Certifications related to specific industries or project management may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals and processes.
  2. Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather business requirements.
  3. Analyze business data, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Create and maintain business process models, flowcharts, and diagrams.
  5. Develop business cases and proposals for process and technology improvements.
  6. Assist in the prioritization and alignment of business initiatives with strategic goals.
  7. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  8. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure business requirements are met.
  9. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success.
  10. Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes and provide recommendations.
  11. Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  12. Assist in project planning, scope definition, and project management tasks.
  13. Ensure project deliverables align with business needs and objectives.
  14. Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  15. Ensure ethical and professional standards in all business analysis practices.
  16. Mentor and train junior business analysts or business analysis interns.

Expected Salary:

  1. Entry-Level : $75,000 to $85,000 per year
  2. Mid-Level : $95,000 to $105,000 per year
  3. Senior-Level : $110,000 to $130,000+ per year
