As Network Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing an organization’s network infrastructure. Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:
Network Engineers should possess a strong foundation in computer science and software development, including proficiency in:
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools like Wireshark, SNMP, and Cisco Network Assistant.
- Familiarity with network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and perform packet-level analysis.
- Proficiency in configuring and optimizing WAN and LAN technologies.
- Knowledge of network virtualization technologies such as VLANs, VRF, and SD-WAN.
- Experience with cloud networking and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto devices.
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
- Knowledge of IPv6 and its implementation.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Ability to analyze network traffic patterns and optimize network performance.
- Capacity planning to ensure network scalability and performance.
- Root cause analysis for identifying and addressing recurring network problems.
- Security incident analysis and response to detect and mitigate network threats.
- Trend analysis to predict network growth and resource requirements.
- Change impact analysis to assess the effects of network configuration changes.
Certifications:
While not always mandatory, certifications can enhance a Systems Administrators qualifications. Some relevant certifications include:

Key Responsibilities:

Expected Salary:
- Entry-Level : $75,000 to $85,000 per year
